Bodgers Mate are a fully professional band Ceilidh band and have been performing for weddings and many other functions throughout the British Isles and overseas for over 25yrs. Although mainly a ceilidh band, we also play many more styles of music inc. rock, jazz, folk, Irish, Scottish, European (French, Italian, etc.) often fusing these styles together, to make our music both exiting and entertaining.

We also play background dinner music, and acoustic music for civil ceremonies, which seems very popular, in fact the entire day, can be catered for.

We are generally a four-piece band (duo for dinner music). Our line up contains guitars, fiddle, mandolin, cittern, harmonicas, bass, drums and vocals. If you prefer a more traditional style, pipes, concertina, and whistle can be added.

For ceilidh weddings we have one of the best callers in the business, fun even for beinners. Dinner Music and Disco available within the band.
